Nayanthara is rumoured to have doubled her remuneration of late. The 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' actress is not doing too many films these days. She is going by the quality of content and seems to be interested in making as much as possible by doing a limited number of movies.
In a sense, Nayan has a lot of factors working in her favour. Nobody has been able to replace her status in Kollywood. And she has done a high number of female-centric rojects. Even Anushka Shetty has been left behind on this metric.
Netrikann, Annaatthe and Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal are her movies in Tamil. She is not in talks with a fresh Telugu movie. In Malayalam, Nayan is said to be demanding a reasonable fee. Malayalam is her mother tongue. Mollywood, given their market conditions, has never offered heroines huge sums of remuneration.
