Hombale Films, which is producing Prabhas' 'Salaar', on Tuesday announced a donation of Rs 35 lakh towards the welfare of the needy members of various bodies in the Telugu film industry. As many as 3,200 members belonging to the 24 crafts of Tollywood will benefit from the donation.
Apart from the aforementioned charity, 150 members working on 'Salaar' will receive monetary assistance of Rs 5,000 each. This gesture has come in for much praise.
Hombale Films' Vijay Kirangadur also announced that his banner is setting up two Oxygen plants in Mandya, which is in Karnataka. Besides, Mandya will get 20 Oxygen bed facilities.
'Salaar', directed by Prashanth Neel, stars Shruti Haasan as the heroine.
