'Karna' is the title of an upcoming action entertainer written, directed, produced and acted by Kaladhar Kokkonda. Its longish trailer was today released at the hands of producer Dil Raju.
Chatrapati Shekar seems to have got the next most important role after the male lead. The dialogues are not only heavy-sounding but are also laced with chaste Sanskritic Telugu.
"We have made 'Karna' based on true incidents," the makers said. Since the title is based on a prominent character from the Mahabharatha, one hopes there is an epic subtext to the story.
Also featuring Mona Thakur, Asma Sayyed, Dil Ramesh, Mahender, Prasad, and Nookaraju, the film is shot by cinematographer Sravan G Kumar. Prashanth BJ (music director), and Kiran Bandar (dance choreographer) have worked on the movie.
