Indian professional wrestler Vinesh Phogat was on Wednesday disqualified ahead of the finals due to overweight issues. Actor Mahesh Babu became the first major Telugu star to take to social media to raise the morale of the wrestler.
In his post, the 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' actor said that today’s outcome doesn't matter. "Your greatness in how you coped with the decision does," the 'Guntur Kaaram' star wrote.
He opined that the wrestler has shown everyone that her heart is that of a true champion. "Your resilience and strength to stand tall in difficult times inspires us all. Medal or not, your spirit shines brightly in every one of us. 1.4 billion hearts stand with you," Mahesh wrote.
