An X user today made a controversial observation about southern Indian movies, saying that the heroes in these movies are short and ugly. And because they suffer from an "inferiority complex", they go about creating havoc to win over the love of a fair-skinned woman, played mostly by northern Indian heroines.
"South Indian movie formula: A small ugly hero with a severe inferiority complex beats up 10,000 muscular men to win the love of a fair-complexioned curvy and dumb woman," the tweet says. Reacting to the same, actor Adivi Sesh asked the user to refrain from making racist remarks. "Please don’t be racist. Our films are embraced worldwide. Just watch the American reactions or the Japanese reactions to our films," the 'Goodachari' and 'Kshanam' actor wrote.
Adivi Sesh's upcoming movies: 'Goodachari 2', which is rumouredly being made on a budget of Rs 100 Cr, will be his first release of 2025. It will be followed by 'Dacoit: A Love Story'. Adivi Sesh is also doing another film, the details of which have been kept under wraps. The year 2025 will be crucial for Sesh in terms of consolidating his stardom.
