As Dusserra is nearing, for NTR fans October 6th is the real Dusserra for them as NTR’s ‘Oosaravelli’ hits the theaters around the world. Having seen NTR in mass actions in almost all his films, fans will now see him as a naïve next door professional. Yes, this time NTR is a software engineer with high degree of patience through out the first half of the film. Without any intentions to challenge the society NTR wanted to lead a life of any other software engineer, of course, with a girl friend around. But as the days pass by he comes across a murder and ends up in hospital due to certain misunderstanding with the villain. The way he reacts, post discharge from hospital is all the movie about.
Producer BVSN Prasad has ventured with NTR for the first time though he tasted success through the films like ‘Chatrapathy’ and ‘Darling’ under his banner Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra.

Surender Reddy, the successful director who has churned out films like
‘Athanokkade’, ‘Athidi’, ‘Ashok’ and most recently the
‘Kick’ has now ventured with
NTR for the second time. He is yet another director in Tollywood who has carved an exclusive style for him, no doubt would have put in all his best efforts with NTR’s prove and capability. From the Kick’s team he has chosen
Shyam to do the second fiddle for NTR in this film.
Tamanna’s association with NTR as a lead pair is for the first time, but going by Tamanna’s past movies one can expect her naughty and jovial contribution in the film, not to forget the glamour.
Devisri Prasad’s handwork is clear from the songs which are rattling the stands. ….song is pick of the album.
Chandra Bose, Ramajogayya Sastry and
Anantha Sriram have strengthened DSP’s efforts with their powerful as well as playful lyrics. For DSP, though it is the first film with the director, it is not the case with NTR, which is the fourth encounter. Surender Reddy has taken an additional responsibility of screenplay increasing the audience’s expectations, something similar to his successful flicks, which is further enhanced by
Koratala Shiva’s dialogues and
Vakkamtam Vamsi’s
story.
Ram-Lakshman have fine tuned the action scenes and
S Ravinder took care of the sets.
Rasool Ellora’s success with cinematography is well known in the industry. To name a few
‘Shiva’, ‘Gaayam’, ‘Gulabi’, ‘Chitram’, ‘Nuvvu Nenu, ‘Okariki Okaru’, ‘Jalsa’ and
‘Kick’ from his enviable list of successful hits. Not just with Telugu, Rasool is also known for his works in Hindi as well as English. He happens to be joining for second time with the director
Surender Reddy. The first being ‘Kick’.
Since it is a software background, it appears that NTR has gone around the world with some specific locations in France, Italy, Switzerland and Bangkok. Some shots were taken in Mumbai also. Hyderabad contributed for action takes.
Released by RR Movie Makers, 'Oosaravelli' will hit theaters on 6th of October. After tasting the success of ‘Brindavanam’ in last Dusserra, NTR fans are now eagerly waiting for NTR to fire from all barrels in this Dusserra too.
With a concept that is totally different from all the characters of NTR in the films so far, let us hope that the expectations of his fans do come true.
