A fairy tale type of movie from the hands of Sreenu Vaitla, who recently presented Nagarjuna’s ‘King’. The movie titled ‘Namo Venkatesa’ is a comedy film action based romantic family drama. While Venkatesh takes care of the action and romance, the department of comedy and family is well covered by Dr Brahmanandam. There are numerous films which Venkatesh has done with the touch of comedy like ‘Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu’, ‘Nuvvu Naaku Nachav’, ‘Malleeswari’ etc. Therefore Venkatesh does not starve his fans for comedy, but it is a combination of Venkatesh and Brahmanandam that will make the comedy department much more dominating than others. It is thus the Brahmanandam’s role as Paris Prasad occupies each and every frame of the movie from start to finish.
The expression queen Trisha need not any more prove herself as a befitting actress for any kind of roles. Can we forget ‘Varsham’, ‘Nuvvosthanante Nenodhantana’ or ‘Athadu’ which are really highlights of her talent.
Venky playing Pravathaneni Venkata Ramana, is a ventriloquist who pairs with Trisha. Sreenu Vaitla is trying the proven combination of Venky-Trisha for this movie. Venky and Trisha have already given a hit through ‘Aadavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule’.
Gopi Mohan and Chintalapalli Rama have given their contributions in the form of story and dialogues respectively. Devisri Prasad had his free hand in presenting yet another series of songs which are quite receivable by the audience. The effect of songs has been further enhanced by the scenic views of Iceland, Austria and Bangkok.
The producers Achanta Gopinath, Achanta Ravi and Anil Sunkara are debuting in their function with a basket full of dreams. Though this is their first project they have ventured with high profile team in all departments and said to have shown no reluctance for any kind of expenditure to churn out the best movie possible. ‘Namo Venkatesa’ is due for release on January 14th with wide expectations from the fans of Venkatesh as well as Sreenu Vaitla.
