The re-recording work of Balakrishna’s most prestigious film ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ is presently going on. The film also stars Nayantara, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Srikanth and Saikumar in central roles and is being directed by Baapu.
According to producer Yalamanchi Saibabu, “Ilayaraja promised to do the re-recording work after being impressed with the filming of each frame of the film. He is taking immense interest in every situation and providing the re-recording work excellently. He would watch the reels early morning every day and write the notes after counting the bars in every scene situation. Sometimes he would complete writing the notes only by afternoon and used to call the orchestra only after that. There are altogether 70 people in the band. In general the orchestra works only from 7AM in the morning to 6 PM in the evening. But for our film they used to work till 12 at midnight.”
Further speaking he said, “Ilayaraja garu tried to showcase a different kind of music. He said that he doesn’t want to follow the regular pattern, therefore he convinced Baapu garu and wrote a new screenplay through music. He himself was surprised at his music at one point of time. Apart from his band, 9 Hungarian musicians worked for him in this film. The instruments they used for re-recording work were never used before in India. On the last day of re-recording work he used the musical instrument called Timpani (Kettledrums) for some reels. It appeared as if he had done some research in music. Ilayaraja has the same kind of anxiety as was during his first film. The re-recording of ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ will be the main highlight of the film.”
Balayya, who so far delivered films with his powerful dialogue delivery and emotional acting, broke his own records and gave many super duper hit films. ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ is going to be yet another great film in Balayya’s career. It’s having great expectations right from the beginning of its launch. It was since long time ago when Balakrishna portrayed the role of Sri Rama in ‘Mangamma Gari Manavadu’ and now he is playing the full-length character of Lord Rama in this film. Yalamanchi Saibabu has produced this incredible film that would remain in the history of Telugu cinema forever. The film has already earned immense craze among the Telugu traders. It has already become the hot topic even before it’s release. Akkineni Nageswara Rao in the role of Valmiki has given pride to the film. Nayantara was completely involved in the role of Sita. One can visualize that by watching her stills. Other important characters were played by Roja, Srikanth, Vindu Dhara Singh, etc. The artists and technicians expressed their happiness for being part of this wonderful film.
