‘Kameena’ is the remake of Hindi film ‘Jhonny Ghaddar’being directed by Lakshmikanth Chenna and produced by Siddharth Arimanda under Kubera Cinemas banner. Vijaya Sarada Reddy Arimanda is the presenter. The film stars Krish, Lekha Washington and Ruby Parihaar in the central roles. Logo of the film was unvealed today in Dasapalla Hotel in Hyderabad. Logo was released by T Pasanna Kumar, posters by Brahmaji and trailers by Vara Prasad Reddy.
Later addressing the gathering T Prasanna Kumar said, “I’m impressed with the title as well as the trailer. The movie was a big hit in Hindi and now it’s being made in Telugu as ‘Kamina’. I wish the Telugu version will be as big hit as Hindi.”
Brajmaji, who’s doing a role in the film says that he was impressed with the original version. According to him director Lakshmikanth is crafting the film excellently.”
Director Lakshmikanth said, “Kameena is a crime drama. We are making this film based on the Hindi film ‘Jhonny Ghaddar’. This film will reflect the new dimension of human relationships. Even though it’s a crime story, the film is being made as commercial entertainer. Aghastya’s music is a big asset to the film. We are planning to start the re-recording work soon.”
