Jagapathy Babu is currently associated with Neelanjana & Chinna Productions for its Production No. 1 untitled film which is being directed by Nandam Harichandra Rao. Jitta Surendra Reddy and A B Srinivas are the joint producers. Yerasu Pratap Reddy, Posani Krishna Murali and Kota Srinivasa Rao are playing other important roles. The first shooting schedule has been completed. On this occasion a press meet was organised by the unit members to brief the film’s details. Posani Krishna Murali, Kota Srinivas Rao and Yerasu Pratap Reddy participated in the press meet along with producers A B Srnivas and Jitta Surendra Reddy.
Kota Srinivasa Rao said, “According to me any film that features Posani Krishna Murali will have a special content. He is very bold in talking the truth. ‘Kameena’ is on the backdrop of present politics and it sure would be a powerful film. We are doing interesting roles. I hope this movie will earn good name to all of us.”
Posani Krishna Murali said, “Kamina is on the bacldrop of present politics in our state. State Minister Yerasu Pratap Redy is a true politician without any bad stamp. He is playing himself in this film and he aptly fitted the bill. Jagapathy Babu is essaying a very good role of Central Intelligence Officer (CIO). My role is one of the best in recent times.”
Yerasu Pratap Reddy said, “This is my fourth film as an actor. I did two films with Kota Srinivasa Rao. I’m playing the Chief Minister who’s loyal. The story is about the devoted Chief Minsiter who aims at eradicating corruption and carry out his duties. But in the mean time he has to face problems with his own ministers. The film is about how he overcomes all the hurdles and achieves his goals for the welfare of his people. ‘Kameena’ will reflect today’s politics in our state.”
Natti Kumar said, “I was given the responsibility to look after production part. We havde successfully completed the first schedule. The output is great. We will be completing the 2nd schedule by this month end and we are making efforts to release the film in September.”
