‘Okkadine’ starring Nara Rohit and Nithya Menon is directed by Srinivas Raga and produced by CV Reddy on Gulabi Movie banner. Karthik composed the music. The audio was launched on Sunday evening at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad.
Nandamuri Balakrishna graced the audio function and released the CDs. The first CD was received by Krishnam Raju. Other guests in the audio function were K S Rama Rao, Nagababu, G V Prakash Naidu, Ramajogayya Sastry, Nara Rohit, Nithya Menon, Ashok Kumar, Gopinath, Bhaskara Bhatla and others.
Addressing the gathering Balakrishna said, “The songs are excellent in this film. Music director Karthik remixed the song ‘Puttintollu Tarimesaru…’ from my father’s film ‘Vetagadu’ and it’s getting good response. The success of that song indicates that the film will be a sure shot win. Rohit earned a good name in ‘Solo’. Now he is coming up as ‘Okkadine’. I’m confident that this movie would definitely give a good future to Rohit. Our industry has no language barrier, while Karthik is a Tamilian and Nithya is from Kerala. As opined by Sagar garu, Nithya is a great actress like Savitri and Soundarya. She earned very good recognition with less number of films and even won Nandi award. CV Reddy garu needs no introduction. He is the pride of our Telugu industry. I wish this film to become a grand success and offer my best wishes to the entire team of ‘Okkadine’.” He concluded the speech saying, “We are searching for aptly suitable heroine for the role of Draupadi. We would have chosen Nithya without second thought if she was a little tall. She has that perfect Telugu looks.”
Krishnam Raju said, “I’m very happy to note that this movie is produced by my friend CV Reddy. I’ve a good association with Nara Rammurthy’s family. Rohit’s previous two films were super hits. I wish this film also to become a grand success. I also believe that this movie will take him to the list of top heroes.”
Nagababu said, “Rohit looks very cool but acts effectively in films. I wish Karthik, Srinivas Raga and producer CV Reddy a grand success through ‘Okkadine’.”
Nara Rohit said, “N T Rama Rao garu, Nara Chandra Babu garu and Balayya garu have inspired me in every aspect of my life. N T Rama Rao garu is my role model in films. Balayya garu inspired me to work with dedication. He encouraged me right from my first film. Karthik rendered fabulous music. I’m confident about the film’s success. The direct is crafting the movie excellently. I’m very happy to see so many prominent people in this audio function.

Nithya Menon said, “Both my previous films were romantic entertainer. However ‘Okkadine’ is a different genre film. I’m confident that this movie will get me a hattrick.”
Bhaskara Bhatla said, “I love to write lyrics for love films. I’m very happy to get the opportunity to write lyrics for Karthik’s tunes.”
Producer CV Reddy said, “Director Srinivas Raga crafted the film with a good story. Karthik’s music is aptly suitable to the film. Rohit and Nithya performed excellently. I wish the audience will like this film.”
