The audio of Midhunam was released in the US, and has got a very good response. All songs are situational and classic. The album has 5 songs. Music is by Veenapani.
1. Aadi Dampathulu – K.J.Yesudas
This is the soul of the movie – Midhunam. While S.P.Balasubramanyam plays the main lead, and needs to have someone sing for him, it could be justified only by the voice of Yesudas. It is an excellent composition on Midhunam – relation of a couple. The song captures the essence of an ideal couple.
2. Evaru Gelicharippudu – Jamuna Rani
After a long time, we have Jamuna Rani lending her voice to his composition, which talks about the relation of a couple. It depicts the everyday tussles that any couple would have and how still they live in love and harmony with each other. The way the song is sung takes you to a different world of the characters of the movie.
3. Coffee Dandakam – Jonnavithula
This is one of the first tunes that got finalized for this movie. The song is a recital of how great and important ‘Coffee’ is in our daily lives. Coffee is more taken as a comfort and habit food for many of us. Jonnavithula has penned the lyrics and has also sung this song, which is a great recital about coffee and how our lives are entwined with it.
4. Aavakaya Mana Andariki – S.P.Balasubramanyam, Swapna
The old melody ‘Brundavanam adi andaridi… Govindudu andari vaade le’, is revived in this song, where SPB lends his voice in praising the food of telugu culture. He talks about avakaya, gongura, kobbari pachhadi, bobbatlu, etc, being better than the present day’s pizza and pasta fastfoods. This song will surely delight the foodies in us.
5. Aata kada ra Siva – K.J.Yesudas
Penned by Tanikella Bharani himself, this is the song that would stay with you for a long time. Yesudas’ voice feels like the soul of the composition, which is a short narration about the way of life.
