Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vishwaroopam II’ is heading into theaters next year and screenings are set on January 25, 2014. The DTH release in the US is being planned simultaneously. On the other hand the audio release is planned for December end. The date will be announced soon. M Ghibran is providing the soundtrack and background score.
Written and directed by Kamal himself, this spy thriller is the sequel to ‘Vishwaroopam’. Post production works are currently going on at a fast pace. Kamal Haasan, Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah will be reprising their roles from the original version. Veteran actress Waheeda Rehman is essaying the role of Kamal’s mother in the sequel part. Apart from her Ananth Mahadevan will also be seen in an important role. While the story of ‘Vishwaroopam’ was set on US backdrop, the sequel will progress in India. Venu Ravichandran is producing the film in Tamil on Aascar Films banner. Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor are producing the Hindi version on Balaji Motion Pictures banner.
