Akkineni Nageswara Rao has had abdominal surgery on 19th at KIMS hospital after being diagnosed with the very early stage of small intestine cancer. The actor is also receiving appropriate treatment for the initial symtoms of disease. According to doctors, the actor’s health is stable and gradually recovering and is likely to be shifted out from ICU in another 4-5 days. Nageswara Rao is presently on clear liquid diet. The Akkineni family members are with ANR in KIMS hospital.
Nageswara Rao was diagnosed with cancer on October 8th when he went for check up due to severe abdominal pain. The actor recently organised a press meet and requested his fans and well-wishers not to visit him and remind him of his disease. He also said that he would definitely live for 100 years with everyone's blessings.
