Director Dr. Anil Vishwanath of the Polimera duology fame awaits the theatrical release of 28°C on March 28th. The drama stars Naveen Chandra and Shalini Vadnikatti as a husband-wife duo. Shalini has previously acted in Krishna And His Leela in Telugu.
Touted to be an "emotional love story, the film has music by Shravan Bharadwaj. The latest song, titled Cheliya Cheliya, has been primarily shot on the lead pair. The melodic staging of their wedlock and the treatment of their marital union amidst their friends remind us of the kind of treatment we saw in Mani Ratnam's Sakhi. Kittu Vissapragada's lyrics and Revanth's vocals have a charm.
Produced by Sai Abhishek under the banner of Veeranjaneya Productions, the film also features Jayaprakash, Priyadarshi Pulikonda (recently seen as the lead man in Court), Harsha Chemudu, Raja Ravindra, Abhay Betiganti, Deviani Sharma, and Santoshi Sharma.
Edited by Garry BH and with cinematography by Vamsi Patchipulusu, 28°C has background music composed by Sricharan Pakala. The film is co-produced by Sanjay Jupudi and Vikram Jupudi.
