The suspense over its release date has come to an end. The big-ticket movie, which Vijay's fans believe will smash records because it will be coming out before Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, will hit the marquee on January 9th, 2026.
Bollywood actor Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde (she has done a special song in Rajinikanth's Coolie) and Mamitha Baiju of 'Premalu' fame, among others, are playing prominent parts. Produced by KVN Productions and PHARS Film, Jana Nayagan also features actor-director Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priyamani, and Prakash Raj.
This landmark film has music by Anirudh Ravichander (Kingdom, The Paradise are his ongoing Telugu projects). The cinematography is by Sathyan Sooryan, editing is by Pradeep E Ragav, action choreography is by Anl Arasu, and art direction is by Selva Kumar. Sekhar Master and Sudhan will be choreographing Vijay's dance moves. Budding VFX Supervisor Monesh H is onboard.
The pre-Sankranthi release of Jana Nayagan is expected to result in runaway success.
