Marking the Jayanti of MG Ramachandran, the makers of 'Thalaivi' have unveiled a romantic still featuring Arvind Swami and Kangana Ranaut. The latter plays Jayalalithaa in the movie. The 'Dhruva' and 'Bombay' actor plays MGR. The makers of the biopic also unveiled a video glimpse that chronicles how MGR played an instrumental role in the political ascension of Jaya.
"Here's a tribute to the legend #MGR on his 104th birth anniversary," wrote Kangana, plugging the video. The film, directed by AL Vijay, is produced by Sailesh R Singh. "The posters of our movie, released thus far, have got a tremendous response. The film will exceed the audience's expectations," he added.
Vibri Motion Pictures, Karma Media And Entertainment are producing this jointly. Vishnu Vardhan is one of the producers. Hitesh Thakkar and Tirumal Reddy are the co-producers.
