In 2018, Vijayendra Prasad said that he would be directing a biopic of Guru Golwalkar, the second chief of the Hindu nationalist organization, the RSS. In a recent interview, the writer of 'Baahubali' and 'RRR' said that it will be a highly commercialized story of the history of the RSS, which is the spiritual mother of the ruling BJP. Prasad, who burnt his hands by directing a couple of movies in his career, will wield the megaphone for this one. "It will be my only directorial for the rest of my career," the father of SS Rajamouli said.
In an old interview, Prasad said that his dream was to see the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya come to fruition. Besides, the removal of Article 370 was another of his dreams. "Both have come true. My third dream is to see the Indian Tricolour unfurled in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir," Prasad said.
