Director Hasith Goli is convinced that 'Swag' is a classic. Nothing less. Maybe, it is more than a classic as per him!
The second-time filmmaker has stated that, on October 4, the Telugu audience will come to know that 'Swag' is the best movie of 2024. "October 4 will be your best interval. It will be your best climax," he said. Hasith actually went further, "It will be the best movie for the coming years," he added.
This is either juvenile overconfidence or a genius announcing his arrival. Making such fat claims has rarely worked for most Telugu filmmakers, though. Either Hasith will join the ranks of Meher Ramesh (his 'Shakti' speech is iconic) or prove the sceptics out there wrong by becoming another Prasanth Varma (the 'HanuMan' director had made astoundingly startling claims).
'Swag', starring Sree Vishnu, Ritu Varma and a host of comedians, is produced by People Media Factory. It will head to theatres on October 4.
