'Star Boy' Siddu Jonnalagadda will now show stars to the British. One of his next films is titled 'Kohinoor' and involves a socio-fantasy element of sorts. Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, which have previously made 'DJ Tillu' and 'Tillu Square' with him, are bankrolling this January 2026 release.
"Bringing Back the Kohinoor diamond," the announcement poster reads. Director Ravikanth Perepu of 'Kshanam' fame is helming the film.
There is a divine touch to the film, which is essentially about a young man reclaiming the precious Kohinoor diamond. The Kohinoor has mostly been seen as a mterialistic pursuit but this film seems to give it a divine attribute by invoking the Goddess Bhadrakaali imagery. The 'Kohinoor' idea seems to be a two-part or multi-part one.
Sithara Entertainments is going to release 'Lucky Baskhar' on October 31. As for Siddu, he is also doing 'Jack - Konchem Crack', 'Telusu Kada' and will reunit with Sithara Entertainments for 'Tillu Cube' in 2026 or 2027.
