Young Tiger NTR is all set to show his power with his latest and much hyped film Kantri. Lot of expectations has raised this film Kantri after NTR delivered a block-buster Yama Donga in 2007.
Aswini Dutt produced the film ‘Kantri’ under Vijayanthi Movies Banner, with screen-play and direction by Mehar Ramesh. While NTR, Hansika Motwani and Tanisha played the lead roles, Prakash Raj donned a prominent role. Mani Sharma scores the music for the film.
Kantri is a copy of Hollywood flick ‘Catch Me If You Can’ starring Leonardo Di Caprio and Tom Hanks directed by Steven Spielberg. It’s understood that NTR will be seen in the role portrayed by Leonardo and Prakash Raj in Tom Hanks’s role. The postures in the stills indicate that NTR will be seen as an action hero and at the same time he will also be seen as a stylish hero too.
There are many special features in this film like NTR rendering his voice in one of the songs. He already earned a good name as an excellent dancer and is performing a Kuchipudi dance which will be the highlight of the film. His histrionics will be entirely different from that of his routine ones, of which he may appear fresh to the audience.
Mani Sharma’s music has already topped the chart-busters. Prakash Raj is playing a very important role in the film which is equal to that of hero’s role. The scenes involving Prakash and NTR will grip the audience in their seats.
NTR had slimmed down a lot and is looking good with heroines Hansika and Tanisha. Looks like the chemistry between NTR and Hansika will work out well on silver screen. Both NTR and the director Mehar Ramesh seems to be very much satisfied with the final output and quite confident about hitting the bulls-eye. The movie ‘Kantri’ is slated for release on May 9th. So let’s wait and watch for the final result of whether NTR repeats the magic of Yama Donga or not.
