Puri Jagannath introduced his brother Sairam Shankar in a film titled ‘143’ under his home production, Vaishno Academy. Having proved their mettle together, Puri-Sairam combo came up with yet another film titled ‘Hello Premisthama’ but failed to persuade the critics and audience as well. Now the duo are back again with a simple and catchy title ‘Bumper Offer’.
‘Bumper Offer’ has many firsts to its credit. This is the first ever film Puri Jagannath is producing after he started his music company called ‘Puri Sangeeth’. As he did in the past where he introduced Raghu Kunche as a singer, he is now introducing him in this film as music director. This apart, the director Jaya Ravindra is also being given his first chance to prove in this film.
Well, what are we talking about? It’s about the same old story where the hero citing his personal financial situation delays his marriage and faces the wrath of his beloved mother. While she continued her persistence, the hero comes across his lady love and all his policies go for a six. How he handles post meeting this girl is all the film about.
‘Avakai Biriyani’ fame, Bindu Madhavi, plays this lady love which is expected to be a juicy one. This role might give her a glamour image getting a better position in Tollywood.
The music in the hands of charming Raghu Kunche is expected to create a different impact. Sai Sriram’s well captured camera angles might get a special mention post release of the film. We all know that action elements play vital role in Puri’s films. So unquestionably Ram-Lakshman’s variety stunts might be another attraction. Another specialty of this film will be the punch dialogues penned by Puri Jagannath. But this is the first time without handling the direction part, he completely played the role of a producer.
However, Puri is keeping a low profile as ‘Bumper Offer’ is releasing after the debacle of ‘Hello Premisthara’. But remember this film is also coming under one such banner which delivered block-busters like ‘Idiot’, ‘Amma Nana O Tamil Ammai’ and ‘Pokiri’.
