After shaking the box-office collections with ‘Endhiran/Robo’ in Kollywood and Bollywood, super star Rajnikanth is presently busy with latest film ‘Kochadaiyaan’. This huge budgeted film is taking shape in the hands of Aishwarya Rajnikanth in 3D format. Aishwarya is working with experts to create a new realm of technology that would meet the standards of ‘Avatar’. Right now the shooting is progressing in London. A few stills involving Rajnikanth, Shobana and Nazar in ‘Animation Costumes’ were recently released on the net. While Deepika Padukone is playing the female lead role opposite Rajnikanth, other prominent stars are Sarath Kumar, Jackie Shroff, Shobana and Nazar. AR Rahman is providing the musical scores.
Speaking about the film in a press conference Rajni said, “Kochadaiyaan is different from the routine formulaic films. It’s challenging to act in one such film. The never seen before locations are one of the main attractions in this film. According to me ‘Superstar’ means Amitabh Bachchan. I consider every film as my first film because I learn something new in each film. I sang a song in this film which happened after 21 years. This song was composed in a unique style.” Aishwarya and AR Rahman were also present in the press conference.
EROS INTERNATIONAL is the presenter of this prestigious film. The Telugu rights of ‘Kochadaiyaan’ were bought by producer B Subrahmaniam under Lakshmi Ganapathi Films banner.
