D Suresh Babu, the Chairman of Film Federation of South India informed the media that they have sent a request to Chief Minister to reduce entertainment tax and remove VAT on Telugu films. The committee meeting was held in Chinakaakani Mandali in Guntur district. On this occasion
D Suresh Babu said, “There is a huge increase in the film expenditure. Hence we requested the government to increase the ticket rates and grant 5th show. We believe that the government will solve the problems of film industry. Any movie big or small is successful provided they are made of good subjects. Of late the film units are not facing problems to shoot films in Telangana region.”
