Balaga Prakasha Rao is producing a film titled ‘Godaari Navvindi’ based on sand mafia with Indra and Satya in the leads. Bheemji Yajjala, who made short films like 'Tarang', 'Prayanam' and 'Oka Pallelo' and won awards, is being introduced as director through this film to the film industry. Tanikella Bharani, Posani Krishna Murali, Sana, Jackie and Kasi Viswanath and some others are playing key roles in this film.
Briefing about the film details, director Bheemji Yajjala said, “‘Godari Navvindi’ is a different story which is set in the backdrop of sand mafia. Hero will be seen as a student who prepares for IAS exams and heroine is a sand architect. The roles in the film were never seen before on Telugu screen. This is my first attempt as director. I’m working as a teacher for Srikakulam government high school. I’ve made some short films like 'Tarang', 'Prayanam' and 'Oka Pallelo' and won awards also.
Producer Balaga Prakasha Rao said, “The first schedule was shot at the coastal areas of Godavari such as Rajahmundry, Kumaradevam and Kovvuru for 31 days and the second schedule will be done in Hyderabad for 10 days. ‘Godari Navvindi’ is coming out wonderfully.”
