Kaalamega Karigindhi, starring Vinay Kumar and Sravani Majjari as the lead pair, will head to theatres on March 21st. Its Trailer, released today, hints at a narrative laced with poetic reflections and a pure-natured romance.
Phani and Bindu are childhood sweethearts who got separated by circumstances. Theirs is a love story with no tension and conflict, we are told. The female voice-over hints at the male lover parting ways with her, leaving her forlorn. The references to Nature and other such tropes is telling.
After a long gap, here is a love story that is feel-good and tender while staging much of the film in the backdrop of a sleepy school in a small town. The songs are expected to be montages. Stubborn memories and a past that haunts are motifs the film relies on.
Recently, a song titled Thanu Jathagaa, set to tune by Gudappan, was released. Earlier, Oohalona Oosulaade was out. Starring also Aravind Mudigonda and Nomiena Tarae, the Singara Mohan-directed movie has been produced by Mare Siva Shankar. Singara Creative Works is going to kick off promotions soon. With cinematography by Vineeth Pabbati, the film is edited by Ra Yogesh.
