Tej Bommadevara is the new kid on the block. He is the son of a former make-up artist named Bommadevara Ramachandra Rao (better known as Chandra in the film industry) artist who has been a producer. Tej is a trained actor who knows dancing and has learned stunts as well.
More than 12 years after he became a producer with 'Panchakshari', Chandra is debuting as a director for his son's maiden venture.
The project, which is yet to be titled, was launched today in the presence of actor Naga Chaitanya. To be produced on Sai Ratna Creations, this one features Rishika Lokre as the heroine.
Chandra thanked Annapurna Studios for supporting him throughout his journey. He also thanked guests NC, V Samudra and C Kalyan.
The untitled film will head to theatres in September. To be made as a novel love story, its scale will be uncompromising. Jayaprakash of 'Sarrainodu' fame, Shailaja Priya, Meka Ramakrishna, Naveen Neni, Ravi Shiva Tej, and others will also be seen.
Vikas Badisa (music) and Vasu (cinematography) are on board. Raju Sundaram and Brinda will be choreographing the dances.
