Akkineni Nagarjuna's N Convention, a prime property located in the Cyberabad area in Hyderabad, today faced demolition. The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection (HYDRAA) carried out the demolition.
It is alleged that the convention center encroached on the buffer zone of Thammidi Kunta. "It occupied 1.12 acres within the Full Tank Level (FTL) and an additional 2 acres within the lake's buffer zone," an India Today report stated.
At the time of writing, Nagarjuna didn't make any statement on the matter. It is believed that the actor and owner of Annapurna Studios had exhausted legal options.
As per the gossip in the town, there could be an element of political vendetta involved. The center was litigated for many years.
On the film front, Nagarjuna is doing Sekhar Kammula's 'Kubera'. It is rumoured that he hasn't firmed up any project for Sankranthi 2025. The convention demolition news has upset his fans.
