It is now uncontested that 'KA' is a declared blockbuster at the box office. The film, starring Kiran Abbavaram in the lead, has registered super-strong numbers in its first week. It was released in theatres last Thursday to cash in on the Diwali crowds.

Directed by the Sujith-Sandeep duo, the period Karmic thriller is expected to continue its successful run over the next two weeks. Starring Nayan Sarik and Tanvi Ram in key roles, 'KA' continues to draw family audiences the most.

So, what is ticking for the movie? The final 20 minutes, of course. The film's script, written backwards, is engaging and a greatly involving watch, the audience have felt. The content-driven success of 'KA' sets a certain new standard. While the film's gripping story and commendable production values have been mentioned, the logical coherence is an under-appreciated merit. In a recent interview, Kiran Abbavaram explained the thought that went into his character's name in the movie, among other overlooked aspects.

'KA', with music by Sam CS, will have a follow-up story as well. In his review of 'KA', film critic Baradwaj Rangan wrote, "'KA' is an interesting mystery that keeps us guessing till the brilliant end. We have a mainstream entertainer. We also have something out of sci-fi. The fun is figuring out how all these elements come together."

'KA' will released in Malayalam on November 15, and in Tamil and Hindi, on November 22.
