The other day, the glimpse video of 'Ghaati' featured Anushka Shetty in the role of a ferocious killer. The heroine, who is also the film's 'hero', chops the head of a beastly villain, and proceeds to do more. The 2025 release is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi.
Incidentally, another superstar actress, too, is essaying an ultra-violent role in one of her upcoming movies. Nayanthara is the one. And 'Rakkayie' is the film's name. Like 'Ghaati', 'Rakkayie' is also a pan-Indian action drama. The film's title teaser suggests that Nayantahra's character is vengeful to the greatest possible degree in this one.
The two actresses show the potential to deliver hits in their respective home turfs. But will 'Ghaati' and 'Rakkayie' click at the Hindi box office? Nayanthara was last year seen in SRK's 'Jawan' but that doesn't mean she is a crowd-puller in the north. Anushka Shetty is known for her 'Baahubali' movies among the Hindi audience but that won't automatically translate into BO numbers for 'Ghaati'.
