Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was last night attacked by an unknown intruder in his Bandra residence in Mumbai. As per early reports, he was stabbed four times. Currently, the senior actor is being treated at a private hospital. Doctors have said that he is out of danger. A surgery, details of which are yet to be known, has been performed.
Saif Ali Khan's team put out a statement early this morning. "There was an attempted burglary at Mr Saif Ali Khan's residence. He is currently in hospital undergoing a surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It is a police matter. We will keep you updated on the situation."
Jr NTR, who shared the screen space with Saif in his recent movie 'Devara', has expressed his shock. "Shocked and saddened to hear about the attack on Saif sir. Wishing and praying for his speedy recovery and good health," Tarak wrote on social media.
Saif Ali Khan has acted in movies like Adipurush, starring Prabhas in the lead. Bunty Aur Babli 2, Vikram Vedha, Jawaani Jaaneman and Bhoot Police are among his recent Hindi movies.
