Young and beautiful Hansika is pretty busy these days with 4 films (2 in Telugu and 2 in Tamil) in her kitty. While she is working for ‘Kandireega’ and ‘Oh My Friend’ in Telugu, her Tamil projects are ‘Velayudham’ and ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ (also called as OK OK) which are also under production. Her first film in Tamil was ‘Mapillai’ costarring Danush which became a super hit. Her 2nd film ‘Engeyum Kadhal’ opposite Jaram Ravi also became a super hit. With two successful films she became the latest sensation in Kollywood and a few of them even calling her ‘Junior Kushboo’. Reacting to this Hansika expressed her happiness saying that she was much tensed at the release time of her 1st film but later felt very happy with the results. She said that she is double happy now with 2 successful films just like she felt when her first film in Telugu ‘Desamuduru’ became a super hit. According to her, ‘Kantri’ and ‘Maska’ also earned her good name.
Her Telugu film ‘Oh My Friend’ under Dil Raju’s production has hit floors on May 12th. Siddharth and Shruti Hassan are her costars in this movie which is taking shape under the direction of Venu Sriram. “I signed this film 3 months ago and the reason for agreeing to do this film is only because it is Dil Raju’s production venture”, said Hansika at the shooting location on Monday. She concluded saying, at 19, she is able to balance her career in two languages with two films each only due to equal success in Telugu as well as Tamil.
