Shankar spends Rs 2 crs for a song

South India’s sensational director Shankar is known for filming songs on extravagant sets and never seen before locations in each of his films. In this line, the director who’s currently directing the remake version of the bollywood blockbuster film ‘3 Idiots’ has spent Rs 2 crores just to shoot a song. This bilingual film titled ‘Nanban’ in Tamil, simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil is slated for Sankranthi release. The title for the Telugu version is yet to be given. The film stars Vijay, Jeeva, Sriram and Ileana in central roles.
