TSR Lalitha Kala Parishad 2011 Awards function will be held in Vizag for two days. This programme will also see the felicitation of Gana Kokila Smt P Suseela on September 17th.
T Subbarami Reddy in a press meet said, “There will be a Gana Vajrosthvam as respect to P Suseela. She will also be awarded Vishwavikyatha Sangeeta Kala Saraswathi award on the same dais. The event will start on 16th at Kala Bharathi Auditorium with the felicitation of the eminent personalities like Annavarapu Ramaswamy, Kasi Vishwanatham, S K Misro, Tekumalla Shyamala, Gara Aruna, etc. On the eve of my birthday on September 17th, the Gana Vajrostavam as respect to P Suseela will be held at Kalavani Port Stadium in Hyderabad. Great singers like S Janaki, Yesudas, Vani Jayaram and L R Eeshwari will also be felicitated on the same dais. This glitzy function will include guests like Dr Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Dr Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan Tej and many other film personalities, central ministers, state ministers, etc. Dr K Roshaiah is the chief guest of this function. We are going to launch an A/C Auditorium in Vizag very soon which will be followed by 23 other districts. We have even completed the Sankustapana in 6 districts and in search of land in places Nalgonda, Khammam, Warangal, Nizamabad.”
D Rama Naidu said, “TRS Kala Parishad is implementing many programmes. It is building auditoriums in 23 districts. We should really feel proud of it for spending crores of rupees to build these auditoriums.”
Yester year actress Vanisri said, “We can hardly see any rich doing this kind of public service. I appreciate T Subbarami Reddy garu who is the real Kala Banduvu. Everyone should consider him as a role model. P Suseela sang the song ‘Idhi Mallela Vela Idhi….’ for me. Similarly she also sang a Tamil song for me ‘Naalai Inda Velai Parthu Odiva Nila…’ with which I became a popular heroine in Tamil. Suseela garu also got National Award for that song. We are honoured to felicitate this deserving lady who successfully completed 60 years as a singer.”
