‘Prema Oka Maikam’ is a youthful romantic entertainer in which ‘Happy Days’ Rahul and ‘Premisthe’ Saranya as lead pair and Charmi in pivotal role as a prostitute. The film is taking shape in the hands of ‘Tenth Class’ and Note Book’ fame Chandu. D Venkat Suresh and K Surya Srikanth are jointly producing the movie under Touring Talkies banner.
Shooting is almost done except for a song. According to director and producers the film was recently shot at Coorg where we shot a song and few scenes. We will wrap up the shooting shortly with canning of the last song. ‘Prema Oka Maikam’ is the triangle love story that revolves around a prostitute, writer and singer. It’s a musical love story in which there are 6 songs and 2 bit songs. Singer Deepu’s brother M G K Praveen is making his debut as music director through this film. Charmi’s role is compared to the ones played by yester year actresses like Savitri, Jayapradha, Jayasudha and recent stars like Tabu, Kareena Kapoor and Anushka. The post production works will be completed by this month end and the film will be released in February.
