Problems arised even when satellite rights of the film were introduced. However it has been accepted now. Hence DTH also will be accepted by all gradually.”
Speaking further he said, “No one has right to question me or stop me from going ahead. I will definitely release ‘Vishwaroopam’ through DTH platform only. There will not be any change in my decision. I did not postpone the film due to someone’s pressure or resolution. It was a mere decision taken by me on my friends’ advice.”
About the release of the film he said, “Now the present discussion is about releasing the film in theaters as well as through DTH on the same day. The DTH service providers should facilitate to release the film only to residences, as it’s against law to release it through cable operators in restaurants and big complexes. If someone tries to go against the rules they will be severely punished.”
