Akkineni Nageswara Rao revealed he was diagnosed with cancer. The veteran actor organized a press meet and told the media about how he was diagnosed with cancer and requested his fans not to feel sad about it.
The 90 year old said, “I went for a check-up due to severe stomach pain. After all tests, I was diagnosed with cancer. But that doesn’t mean that one will die. One can fight cancer with strong will-power. My family is not sad about that. I’ve strong will-power. If my fans want me to live for long, they should not feel sad and make me sad. With strong will-power and determination I can fight this disease. My mother lived for 96 years. One should live happily as long as he lives. I will hit a century with the blessings of fans and well-wishers.”
