“Movie Moghul Dr. D. Ramanaidu garu’s sudden demise is the major loss for the Telugu film industry. He produced ‘Raamudu Bheemudu’ with my father NTR in 1964 – the first film under the Suresh Productions banner. After the super success of the film, he continued to produce many successful films like ‘Sri Krishna Thulabaram’ and so on. I too acted in movies like ‘Kathanayakudu’ and ‘Ramu’ under his production. He is a legendry producer. He introduced many directors and several actors, technicians and music directors, who have since become very famous and owe their success to him. He holds the Guinness Book of World Records having produced more than 150 films in 13 languages. It’s a sad news that he is no more with us. I convey my sincere condolences to the bereaved family members and prays for his soul to rest in peace.”
