Kannada actor Shashi Kumar’s son Akshith Shashi's upcoming movie is titled 'Seethayanam', which is his debut. The news is that Sandalwood superstar and Real Star Upendra has unveiled its first song, which is currently out on Lahari Music.
Helmed by Prabhakar Aaripaka, the Telugu-Kannada bilingual (dubbed in Tamil) stars Anahitha Bhushan as the heroine. The makers are confident that the Seethayanam Anthem, borrowed from a sloka from Valmiki's Ramayana, will become a part of the religious culture of the people.
"Love, crime and thrilling elements are important ingredients of 'Seethayanam'. I am confident that cine-lovers will embrace the movie. The idea of presenting the holy Shloka that wasn’t available in the song format for decades as a song in Telugu, Kannada and Tamil will be well received by everyone. Akshith will surely become as good an actor as his father Shashi Kumar. He is lucky to get to debut in three languages at a time. I wish he attains great fame," Upendra said.
The makers are planning to release the film's teaser and trailer soon. Ajay Ghosh, Madhunandhan, Vidyulekha Raman, Bithiri Satti, Krishna Bhagavan, Gundu Sudarshan, Anant, Jabardast Apparao, TNR, Madhumani and Meghna Gowda are part of the cast.
