'Master' will release in theatres on January 13. The Telugu version is produced by Mahesh Koneru of East Coast Productions. Ahead of its release, director Lokesh Kanagaraj and others have spoken about the action drama at the film's pre-release event.
Speaking at an event Shantan Bhagyaraj said, "I congratulate producer Mahesh Koneru garu. I hope 'Master' becomes a major hit in Telugu. The Telugu audience see movies as a celebration. I am happy to have got to act in this movie. This is a huge Thalapathy Vijay entertainer."
Arjun Raj said, "This is Lokesh's immediate film after 'Khaidi'. I am happy to have got to share screen space with Vijay garu and Vijay Sethupathy garu."
Anirudh Ravichander said, "The producer is planning to release 'Master' on a vast scale in Telugu. Lokesh is like my brother. I thank lyricists Anant Sriram, Krishna Kanth, singer Sri Krishna and others. This is a special film for us all. 'Master' is a thought-provoking movie. The director has balanced both mass and class elements."
Producer Mahesh S Koneru said, "I hope our difficulties of 2020 disappear this year. Besides our movie, 'Krack', 'RED' and 'Alludu Adhurs' are releasing in theatres for Sankranthi. I sincerely wish them all the best. It was I who produced Vijay garu's previous outing 'Bigil' in Telugu. It became a big hit.
