Mega Fans Fume Over Allu Aravind's Remark, Cite Magadheera Dub Refusal

In an interview this week, Allu Aravind said that Ram Charan's debut movie Chirutha was an average box-office performer. "I wanted my nephew Ram Charan's second movie, Magadheera, to be a big hit. That's why I teamed up with Rajamouli," Aravind said.

Charan's fans are angry that Aravind has described Chirutha as an average performer. As per them, the Puri Jagannadh directorial did extremely well, earning a share of Rs 25 Cr, a very big figure in 2007.

Mega fans are so upset that they are projecting Aravind as someone who didn't care to dub Magadheera in Tamil despite SS Rajamouli "begging" him to do so. In fact, this is Rajamouli's assertion as well. In an interview a couple of years ago, here is what Rajamouli said: “With Magadheera, I pressurised and begged my producer (Aravind) to just dub the film and release it in Tamil. I really believed in the product but he refused for whatever reason. We couldn’t do it. It was a hugely successful film in Telugu but it didn’t go out anywhere else outside my states."
