Director Parasuram Petla has justified the rom-com track in 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' where Mahesh Babu forces a 'Leg Hug' on his estranged girlfriend played by Keerthy Suresh in the movie. The scenes where Mahesh peeves the heroine on purpose by blackmailing her to submit to his whims have been sentimentalized by Parasuram.
We are referring to the scenes in the second half between Mahesh and Keerthy. The former coerces the latter to sleep with him every night. As per Parasuram, the scenes are not at all vulgar. If anything, they are spiritual!
"What is wrong with that? As far as I am concerned, it is like a kid wanting to sleep with his mother," Parasuram said. "Mahesh garu would have refused to do those scenes if there was a hint of vulgarity," the director added.
But the 'Leg Hug' element is not innocent if the reactions across social media platforms are anything to go by.
