VV Lakshminarayana, popularly known as 'JD' Lakshmi Narayana, has been a politician. The news is that he is making his acting debut in an author-backed role in the upcoming slice-of-life film 'Bheemadevarapally Branch'. The film, directed by Ramesh Cheppala, is currently in the post-production phase.
As per the makers, the film follows the path of neo-realism and is about a sensational event. Prof. Nageshwara Rao, who has in the past refused to act despite repeated requests by the likes of Ram Gopal Varma, has got a key role in the movie.
Also featuring Anji Babu, Rajavva, Subhodayam Subbarao, Sudhakar Reddy, Keerthy Latha, Abhi, and several others, the film's release date is yet to be made official.
Bankrolled by AB Cinemass and Nihal Productions, this one has Charan Arjun composing the music.
