Rs πππ.π Cr. This is how much 'Salaar' made on Day 1, as per Hombale Films. The Prabhas-starring pan-Indian film grossed nearly Rs 180 Cr worldwide. The lion's share came from the Telugu version's collections in Nizam, Andhra and the US. In the Hindi belt, the film took off well but not awesomely.

The Prashanth Neel directorial has put many talents in the spotlight yet again. Music director Ravi Basrur's work has received a mixed response, while cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda and the film's production designer have received unanimous praise.
The second part of 'Salaar', titled 'Salaar: Shouryaanga Parvam', will be one of the most expensive movies in Prabhas' career. However, its budget will be finalized by the makers after seeing how Prabhas' career shapes up after the release of 'Kalki 2898 AD'.
