The story of 'Salaar' has reportedly been spliced into two parts by director Prashanth Neel. With Prabhas accepting the proposal, Hombale Films has decided to make it a two-part, pan-India, mass masala outing.
The news is yet to be confirmed officially. 'Salaar' getting made into two parts will add one more big project to Prabhas' bulky filmography. 'Radhe Shyam', 'Adipurush', 'Project K' and 'Spirit' are yet to be released/completed.
When 'Salaar' was announced in 2020, it was only a one-part film. The decision to divide it into two parts is reminiscent of what Mythri Movie Makers, Allu Arjun and Sukumar have done in the case of 'Pushpa'. The second part was announced months after the first part went on the floors.
