It is known that Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' is up for a theatrical release on September 7. Co-starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, the Atlee directorial will be released in Telugu, besides Hindi and Tamil.
Distributors and exhibitors from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are planning early morning shows to capitalize on the popularity enjoyed by SRK. 'Jawan' is also much-awaited because of its genre: action entertainer.
The makers today said that the bookings for the early shows on September 7 are logging an excellent response from the Telugu States. "Recently bookings for the 6 a.m. show on 7th September were opened at NVR Jaysyam, Tirupati. In no time, 80% of the seats were booked. Shows are being planned massively and the bookings are great," the makers said.
In national multiplex chains (namely, PVR, Inox & Cinepolis), 'Jawan' has sold 2.46 lakh tickets as of 10 a.m. by Monday morning. This figure is for all versions (Hindi, Telugu and Tamil).
The film also features Deepika Padukone in a special role. Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, and others are part of the cast.
