Nandamuri Balakrishna has lined up a solid 2025. He has two movies coming up for two major festivals.
Sankranthi release: 'Daaku Maharaaj' is up for release in the Sankranthi week. Directed by Bobby Kolli, the action entertainer co-stars Bobby Deol.
Dasara arrival: 'Akhanda 2' is up for release on September 25. Directed by Boyapati Sreenu, this 14 Reels Plus production went on the floors this week. Its shoot will be completed by July 2025. Since 'Akhanda' was a blockbuster, 'Akhanda 2' will be released on a big scale. It will also be released in Hindi to test Balakrishna's market range.
'Daaku Maharaaj' becoming a box office hit will further boost the pre-release business prospects of 'Akhanda 2'. Balakrishna's movies have always been on track for release without delays. He plans his production timelines sharply.
This year, Balakrishna hosted a talk show for an OTT platform. In a recent episode, he expressed the wish to portray a negative role in a Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial.
