'G2' has been in the making for a long time now. The news is that 'Tiger 3' (Hindi) actor Emraan Hashmi has been enlisted to play a pivotal role in the spy thriller. Confirming his presence, the makers today said that Emraan's pulsating presence in the film will add an "electrifying element to one of the country's biggest spy sagas".
Actor Adivi Sesh, known for always ensuring that the right acting talent are chosen for key roles, wrote that he was thrilled to have Emraan bring a new dimension to the table. "The script is compelling, and I look forward to being part of this spy thriller," wrote Emraan. Producer TG Vishwa Prasad said that Emraan's high-stakes role will add to the visual flavour of the "cinematic spectacle" in the making. Producer Abhishek Agarwal feels that the Bollywood actor's acting prowess will be put to the best use.
'G2', whose full cast and crew details are yet to be made official, is directed by newcomer Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi. Edited by Kodati Pavan Kalyan, its music is by Sricharan Pakala. Banita Sandhu has a key role.
