Kiran Abbavaram's 'KA' has grossed a worldwide collection of Rs. 50 crore. Now in its third week, the film continues to play successfully in theatres after completing its second week on a commercially vibrant note.
'KA' was released in the Telugu States by distributor Vamsi Nandipati. Directed by Sujith and Sandeep, the film is produced by Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy, who invested a big amount in making 'KA' and has made a killing on the back of the solid content in the period Karmic thriller.
The film will have a sequel, which will be announced soon.
What is the film about? Vasudev is a postman in Krishnagiri, an idyllic village that is shrouded in darkness in the afternoon due to his unique geographical setting. When a mystery man runs into him, fear stalks him. His habit of reading others' letters has put him in trouble. Locked up in an eerie interrogation cell, he has no memory of his past. A mysterious interrogator uses a hypnotizing gadget to uncover his life. Does Vasudev's past has anything to do with girls mysteriously disappearing in the village?
