Rashmika Mandanna, known affectionately by fans as the National Crush and now hailed as The Queen, has been busy acting in a string of blockbusters. Her journey from a regional cinema darling to a pan-India acting superstar is inspiring, film observers say.
Her role in Animal brought a fresh perspective to the screen opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Following this, she starred in Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule, where her presence added glamour to Pushpa Raj's life.
Now, with Chhaava (her latest Hindi-language release), Rashmika has achieved the feat of back-to-back deliveries. Yesubai Bhonsale is her role in the historical action film, playing the role of the wife of Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.
